About Wylie Strotbeck
Wylie entered our lives February 18, 1992. He was our joy. We called him Smiley Wylie. He was diagnosed with a type of brain tumor called a medulloblastoma in December of 2003 in the prime of his youth. This is the most common of all the childhood brain tumors, but not the easiest to cure.
Wylie loved every day of his 13 years. He was a joker. His wit and his humor was contagious. This was a person with a creative hand and great ideas. Wylie’s potential had no limits. When told of his predicament, Wylie donned his armor and was determined to fight for every day of his life. His courageous battle lasted 16 months and his bright spirit lives on with us today. |
